Mission

The mission of ArtsKC – Regional Arts Council is to unleash the power of the arts, bringing positive change and equity to the Kansas City region. We seek ways to support the arts ecosystem and empower the artists and organizations through our programs and services. It works through three key pillars: To Support, Promote and Advocate for the Arts. It undertakes this work through the lens of diversity, equity and inclusion and inspires the building of community in all that it does. ArtsKC envisions a vibrant, diverse community, where everyone participates in, and benefits from, the transformative power of the arts.
