Mission

E3 Rochester announced adopting the name EDceptional in 2023. Our mission remains the same - to assist our community in developing a system of high-quality charter schools through citizen and community action that puts families in charge of choosing their child’s education. We will focus our resources on a set of initiatives that we can direct and fulfill, in alignment with partnership organizations with parallel missions. EDceptional’s vision is to fundamentally change the educational system in Rochester so that all of Rochester’s children are prepared for college or work, citizenship and successful lives. Such a system would empower principals to run good schools and hold them accountable for results, and train and manage teachers to lead their classrooms and perform at a high level.
